RAWR. Oh yeah! Leopard Prints.

Guess what I’m obsessing about lately, not only over sized earrings, but also, well yeah (duh!) LEOPARD PRINTS!!! I think I need one leopard printed ring, hobo bag, coat (even though its freaking hot here in the Phil., yeah, I’d rock that.), wedge and a blazer, I need them all in my closet. NOW. LOL.

I just love the color and the feel of seeing an animal print on garments and accessories. Don’t you think? Except if they’re real. NO TO FUR! FAUX FUR ONLY! I mean how would you feel If I’ll use your skin for my handbag? Yeah thats what I thought. Any who..
Leopard print for me is EPIC, its timeless, and here in KK we embrace the fact that trends are not meant to be followed, that what you wear is how you express yourself, and nobody can’t tell you, whats hot and whats not, and what you can or can’t wear. Style icons never follow the trends, they have their own. Just like these ladies that we all knew and loved…

Jacqueline Kennedy, Audrey Hepburn, Edie Sedgwick, Coco Chanel

Me? I choose wear leopard not because it looks cool (it really does!), its because I want to. Because it makes me feel, wild, and dangerous. If you always rely on trends, you will never have your own brand of style, in short your generic, a clone of everybody who follow the same trends. Don’t hesitate to break norms, for example, here in GSC, a lot of people still don’t have the balls to wear clothes they like, or to experiment, to stand out, because people will eyeball you wherever you go, and I’ve been to that stage and believe me, you don’t want to be stared into like that, but if you allow that to happen then you’re just a follower, not a leader, so what I did was put my “I don’t care what you think, I’m beautiful.” look, and rocked my outfits wherever I go. I’m not here to please everybody anyway.
Just like my modern style icons, Nichole Richie and Mary-Kate Olsen, though sometimes criticized for their wardrobe preferences, that never stopped them from making their own style their own. No trends, just themselves…

Do you have leopard printed anything in your wardrobe? I’d love to hear about it!!
I’ll post my leopard cardigan, tomorrow, I’m too lazy to get out of bed. haha.
